Demonstration and Popularization of No-resistance Breeding Technology Path for Beef Cattle in Ganzhou District of Zhangye City
Ganzhou District of Zhangye City is a major beef cattle breeding area in Gansu Province and the core breeding area of Zhangye beef cattle.Since 2018,the annual total number of breeding has exceeded 500 000,including 160 500 breeding cows and 142 000 annual calves.Large-scale breeding accounted for more than 65%.Starting from the strategy of high-quality development of beef cattle in Ganzhou District of Zhangye City,this paper sticks to measures such as sampling,publicity,test demonstration and promotion,and constantly increases the reduction and prohibition of drug input mainly antibiotics by large-scale farms.As we all know,the harm of antibiotics has resistance:long-term use will cause bacteria to develop resistance to antibiotics,reducing the effect of drug treatment;Damage liver and kidney function:antibiotics complete metabolism through liver and kidney,long-term use is easy to damage liver and kidney function;Allergic reaction:Some patients are allergic to antibiotic ingredients,and there are adverse consequences such as allergic reactions after use.In this paper,the author carried out the investigation on the amount of antibiotic addition and vigorously promoted the no-resistance breeding technology among the beef cattle farmers in Ganjun Town and Mingyong Town in Ganzhou District within the scope of service,and summarized a set of effective technical paths,and achieved remarkable results.
