Observation on Clinical Efficacy of Self-prepared Prescription and Aphrodisiac Powder in Treating Kidney-yang Deficiency Syndrome of Breeding Bulls
Exploring the clinical efficacy of self formulated prescriptions and aphrodisiac in treating male cattle with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome.Thirty Simmental bulls with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into three groups.Equal amounts of self formulated formula and aphrodisiac powder were added to the concentrate, while equal amounts of concentrate were added to the blank group.Feed continuously for 28 days, ensuring twice a week for sperm collection.A total of 614 mL of semen was collected 237 times, and the semen volume in the self-prescribed group was significantly increased compared to the control group(P<0.01).The semen vitality in the self-prescribed group was significantly increased compared to the aphrodisiac group(P<0.01).The deformity rate in the self-prescribed group and aphrodisiac group was significantly reduced compared to the control group(P<0.01),and the deformity rate in the self prescribed group was significantly reduced compared to the aphrodisiac group(P<0.01).Both self-designed prescriptions and aphrodisiac can improve the quality of bull semen in terms of semen volume, semen vitality, and deformity rate. The overall therapeutic effect of self-designed prescriptions on kidney-yang deficiency syndrome in breeding bulls is better than that of aphrodisiac.
