Monitoring of Intramannary Ceftiofur Hydrochloride and Rifaximin for Treatment and Prevention of Cow Mastitis in Dry Period
The objective of this study was to evaluate Intramannary Ceftiofur Hydrochloride and Rifaximin for treatment and prevention of cow mastitis in dry period,verify the safety and efficacy of the drug in production practice.35 lactating cows entering the dry milk period were selected from three dairy farms distributed in different regions for the experiment.Each farm was rando mLy divided into two groups.The positive rate of the milk area,mastitis,and antibiotic indicators were measured.The experimental results show that cefotaxime hydrochloride and rifaximin breast injections can be used for the treatment of mastitis in dry milk cows in the region.The results demostrated that the clinical efficacy of cefotaxime hydrochloride breast injection and rifaximin breast injection in the treatment of dry breast mastitis in the region is significant,providing a basis for rational and safe drug use in ranch clinical practice.
