Research Progress on Elephant Grass Silage Processing and Its Application in Animal Production
Elephant grass has the characteristics of fresh,tender,juicy,high nutritional value,good palatability,and high yield.It can be used as high-quality green feed for ruminants and is also an ideal raw material for making silage.This article reviews the current technology of elephant grass silage,additive silage and mixed silage,and the feeding effect of elephant grass silage feed in animals,in order to provide reference for the utilization of elephant grass silage.
