Sow abortion is a common obstetric disease,which brings huge economic losses to breeding farms.The etiology and pathogenesis of sow abortion are complex.The common etiology includes genetic factors,infectious disease factors,noninfectious disease factors,etc.The pathogenesis is mainly regulated by hormonal changes and immune response.This article summarized the main causes and pathogenesis of sow abortion,and put forward prevention and control measures,aiming to provide theoretical support for the prevention and control of sow abortion.
