Lumpy skin disease is a non-zoonotic disease caused by lumpy skin disease virus introduced into China from Central Asia in recent years.Its characteristic clinical symptoms are mainly hard,round eminence and well-defined nodules on the surface of skin,mucosa and organs,among which mucinous secretions are also easy to cause keratitis,rhinitis and conjunctivitis,and then form ulcers,leading to salivation symptoms,accompanied by skin edema and lymph node enlargement.The pathological changes were mainly characterized by epidermal hyperplasia and epithelioid cell infiltration,and lymphatic vessels or blood vessels of dermis and subcutaneous tissue formed embolism,resulting in lymphangitis or vasculitis.Once it happens,it will seriously restrict the development of animal husbandry and cause economic losses.In order to fully understand and do a good job in the prevention and control of the disease,the epidemic characteristics,transmission characteristics and prevention and control measures of the disease are summarized to provide guidance for effective control and reduction of the disease.
