Optimization of Tylosin Fermentation Process by Response Surface Method
Tylosin is an important veterinary antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. In order to improve the fermentation yield of tylomycin, single factor test and response surface method were used to optimize the fermentation process of Streptomyces frei. The results showed that the inoculation amount, fermentation temperature, initial pH and shaking speed were the key factors affecting the yield.Under the optimal response surface method, the yield of tylomycin could reach 1 518 mg/L at 7.2% inoculation rate,30.3℃,initial pH 7.38 and rotation speed 212 r/min,which was 12.4% higher than that before optimization. This study provided a theoretical reference for the optimization of tylosin fermentation process and accumulated experience for the efficient production of other antibiotics.
