A Case of the Diagnosis and Treatment of Goat Infection with Eurytrema Pancreaticum and Haemonchus contortus
Eurytrematosis is a common and important parasitic disease,which is caused by Eurytrema pancreaticum residing in the pancreas or pancreatic duct of cattle,sheep and other ruminant animals,causing pancreatic necrosis and pancreatic duct obstruction and using the indigestion and anemia as its pathological features.Haemonchosis of goats is an important and common parasitic disease,which is caused by Haemonchus contortus residing in abomasum and small intestine of goat,using progressive emaciation,anemia,diarrhea and subabdominal edema as pathological features of this disease.The two parasitic diseases can both infect with all ages of goats and mainly damage to the young goats,but Haemonchosis mainly harms lambs.Once breaking,both diseases can both cause a number of young goats death if we treat the sick goats untimely or take inappropriate treatment ways,marking tremendous economic losses to farmers,greatly hindered the development of the global breeding industry.
