Problems and Optimization of"Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology"in Higher Vocational Education
"Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology"is a required course for veterinary programs such as Animal Medicine,Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and Pet Care and Handling.The application of pharmacology knowledge in the clinical setting reflects both the student's learning of other subjects and tests the student's flexibility in applying their knowledge.It determines whether or not the student will be a good veterinarian.This paper summarizes the current status of students in higher vocational and technical institutions and analyzes the problems in the course.By dissects the characteristics of the course and the characteristics of the students'learning situation.Some approaches improves the efficiency of classroom learning by understanding the motivation of learning,guiding the course ideology and politics,reconstructing the knowledge framework and make good use of the clinical case to achieve a good teaching effect at last.
