Diagnosis and Treatment of Female Rabbit Vaginal Prolapse
Due to the sudden pudenda bleeding with a light red prolapse in the affected area of the female rabbit came to the clinic. After clinical reception,a series of basic examinations, blood routine examinations and X-ray examinations were performed to diagnose the vaginal prolapse of the female rabbit. On the basis of general anesthesia, surgery was performed to reset the prolapsed vagina, and suture was fixed at the vulva.Because of more peroperative bleeding before surgery and low intraoperative blood pressure, blood transfusion was used in subsequent treatment, and hemostatic analgesic antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs were used to prevent secondary infection.Due to timely discovery and treatment, this illness case recovered well after surgery and did not cause other sequelae. The main causes of the disease are unbalanced feed ratio, lack of daily intake of calcium salts, and insufficient exercise, that lead to a decrease in systemic tissue tension, vaginal and vulva relaxation, and a sudden increase in Excessive abdominal pressure leads to disease.
