Progress in the Recovery Process of Heavy Metals Cu and Zn from Pig Manure
The metal elements Cu and Zn are crucial trace elements that promote pig growth, development, and reproductive performance.People supplement pig diets with Cu,Zn,and other nutrients to meet their normal requirements. However, pigs have poor absorption capacity for inorganic Cu,Zn,and a significant portion of the added Cu,Zn,and other trace elements are excreted directly with feces, leading to severe overloading of Cu and Zn in collected pig manure.Manure rich in copper and zinc can cause secondary pollution to farmland water bodies. To address the environmental issues caused by the high levels of Cu and Zn in pig manure emissions, this paper primarily discusses the separation, extraction, and microbial transformation of heavy metals Cu and Zn in pig manure. It elaborates on the problems and solutions encountered in practical applications, aiming to provide guidance for production practices.
