Research Progress on Main Parasitic Pathogens Causing Lamb Diarrhea
Lamb diarrhea is a common and frequently occurring disease in sheep, mainly characterized by diarrhea and dysentery, which leads to slow growth and even death of lambs. The factors causing diarrhea of lambs are relatively complex.Apart from feeding and management factors, pathogenic infection is an important factor causing diarrhea of lambs.Co-infection of diarrhea-associated infectious agents is common and poses a challenge to field investigation of diarrheal sheep. In this paper, the common parasitic pathogens causing lamb diarrhea were reviewed, aiming to provide reference for the surveillance of lamb diarrheal disease, the formulation of immunization plan and the prevention and control of the disease in the future.
