Effect of Different Nutrients on the Reproductive Performance of Sheep
As an important industry of animal husbandry in China.China has long referred to foreign standards to formulate rations to meet the nutritional needs of ewes.However,due to the limitations of domestic and foreign meat sheep and feed ration raw material varieties,often resulting in poor breeding results,feed waste,seriously restricting the development of China's sheep farming industry.Nutrition is essential for sheep to maintain physiological functions,and the level of nutrition directly affects the reproductive performance of ewes and the economic benefits of sheep farms.Providing sufficient and multi-dimensional nutrients can effectively stimulate the libido of breeding rams,improve semen quality and promote estrus and ovulation of ewes,thus improving the breeding efficiency.This paper focuses on the effects of different nutrients on the reproductive performance of sheep at different stages.
