Diagnosis and Treatment of Avian Adenovirus Serotype 4 in Mute Swan I Flock
The objective of this study is to provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of mute swan avian adenovirus type 4 for clinical veterinarians and scientific researchers.Method:Four 4-month-old diseased mute swans found by the Wildlife Conservation Office of Yili Forestry and Grassland Bureau were diagnosed by clinical diagnosis, serological detection, fecal detection and fluorescence PCR detection, and the serological test results showed that the antibody levels of avian influenza and Newcastle disease in the serum samples of the swans were 0,and the fluorescence PCR results showed that the four mute swans were negative for reoand and duck tambusu, and avian adenovirus type 4 was positive. Conclusion:It can be determined that the mute swans were infected with avian adenovirus serotype 4 in group I,and by using adenovirus yolk antibody combined with antibiotics and symptomatic treatment, all 4 swans were cured after 5 days, with a cure rate of 100%.
