A Study on the Feeding Technology of Poultry Embryo Eggs
Embryo egg injection technology originated in the United States and was discovered by Sharma and Burmester from the Poultry Research Laboratory of the US Department of Agriculture in 1983.Embryo egg injection refers to the artificial injection of a certain amount of nutrients, such as energy, vitamins, amino acids, etc.,into the embryo egg during the incubation period, especially in the later stage.Due to the high nutritional demand of poultry in the later stage of hatching, and the limited nutrients stored in embryo eggs, supplementing relevant nutrients through exogenous means may affect the hatching rate, birth weight, tibia related indicators, blood biochemical indicators, and immune ability of poultry, which is of great significance for guiding actual poultry production. This article briefly introduces the physiological characteristics and nutritional requirements of poultry embryos during development,as well as the application and research progress of embryo egg injection technology in China, and looks forward to the future development of this technology.
