Diagnosis of Case of Mixed Infection with Babesia Ovata and Anaplasma Phgocytophilum Infections in Cattle
In June 2023,the cattle farm in Tumen city,Jilin province have symptoms such as anemia,emaciation,rumination disorders,and hemoglobinuria.To analyze the cause of the disease in cattle,conduct preliminary clinical diagnosis and PCR testing.The results showed that cattle were positive for Babesia ovata and Anaplasma phgocytophilum.The Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that Babesia ovata was most closely related to J apan strains;Anaplasma phgocytophilum was clustered with that of South Korea strains.The results provided important evidence for prevention and control of cattle Babesia ovata and Anaplasma phgocytophilum in Jilin province.
