Different Proportions of Fermented Feed Instead of TMR for Beef Cattle Study on the Effect of Growth Performance
The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of adding fermented feed to TMR on the growth performance of beef cattle.Thirty-six Simmental hybrid beef cattle with similar body weight were randomly divided into three groups. The results indicated that the finalbody weight of cattle in both group A and group B increased compared to the control group. The weight gain and daily feed intake of beef cattle in Group B showed a significant increase(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the feed-to-weight ratio of the experimental group A increased by 0.03%(P>0.05),and the feed-to-weight ratio of the experimental group B decreased by 0.84%(P<0.05).It can be seen that feeding beef cattle with 20%fermented feed instead of TMR can promote the growth performance of beef cattle and effectively reduce the feed-to-weight ratio and thus improve economic benefits.
