The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of adding fermented feed to TMR on the growth performance of beef cattle.Thirty-six Simmental hybrid beef cattle with similar body weight were randomly divided into three groups.The results indicated that the finalbody weight of cattle in both group A and group B increased compared to the control group.The weight gain and daily feed intake of beef cattle in Group B showed a significant increase(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the feed-to-weight ratio of the experimental group A increased by 0.03%(P＞0.05),and the feed-to-weight ratio of the experimental group B decreased by 0.84%(P＜0.05).It can be seen that feeding beef cattle with 20%fermented feed instead of TMR can promote the growth performance of beef cattle and effectively reduce the feed-to-weight ratio and thus improve economic benefits.
