Epidemic Characteristics and Prevention and Control Considerations of Brucellosis in Cattle and Sheep in Langzhong City from 2016 to 2023
Brucellosis,also known as"lazy man's disease"(hereinafter referred to as"brucellosis"),is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by the genus Brucella.In order to summarize the prevention and control of bovine and sheep brucellosis in Langzhong City,further carry out effective brucellosis prevention and control work,and establish a long-term prevention and control mechanism,this article analyzes the monitoring,epidemiological investigation,and culling and purification of bovine and sheep brucellosis in Langzhong City from 2016 to 2023,and finds that:Attracting purchases from other places is the biggest risk factor for brucellosis among livestock in Langzhong City;The infection of human brucellosis is directly related to the positivity of sheep brucellosis.The long-term mechanism for preventing and controlling brucellosis in our city is to strengthen transportation supervision,strengthen training and publicity,and continuously implement a prevention and control strategy of"monitoring,killing,purifying,and maintaining".
