Surveillance and Analysis of PRRS Antibodies in a Self-breeding Pig Farm
PRRS is an infectious disease caused by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, which mainly causes dyspnea, fever, anorexia and reproductive disorders in pigs.To understand a large-scale sow farms of PRRS vaccine immunity, the author of Guangxi Wuzhou a breeding farms random postpartum sows, sows, boars, piglets, nursery piglets,a total of 258 samples, the enzyme-linked immunoadsorption test(ELISA)for samples of PRRS antibody level detection analysis. The results showed that the average positive rate was 80%,the S/P value was 1.02,the dispersion was 63%,and the overall level was good. However, there are still some differences in different stages of pigs. The positive rate and average S/P of postpartum sows, piglets and finishing pigs are low,do to reach the qualified level, and there is a certain risk of infection. It is necessary to further optimize the immune procedures, strengthen the construction of biosafety system, and improve the overall immune level.
