Exchange of Experiences on Transforming Grassland Animal Husbandry Production Model in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture,Xinjiang
As the largest horse industry base in China,Ili Prefecture is an important breeding base for Xinjiang brown cattle and Chinese Merino sheep.It is also an important animal husbandry production base in Xinjiang.Animal husbandry has become a pillar industry of agriculture and rural economy and an important source of income for farmers.In order to solve the problem of high-quality development of animal husbandry,Ili Prefecture has implemented a series of work measures around the main lines of"two combinations"(large-scale breeding and breeding combination,grazing and house feeding combination),"two priorities"(focusing on brand construction and deep processing),and"two services"(full social services and improving financial services),and various counties and cities have taken multiple measures to transform the animal husbandry production model.We have improved the level of animal husbandry industrialization,enhanced the development momentum of animal husbandry in Ili,and made efforts to make new breakthroughs in promoting the development of modern animal husbandry New progress and achievements have made contributions to the development of modern animal husbandry in Ili.
