Vomiting,as a common symptom in dogs,not only affects the quality of life of dogs but also poses potential threats to their overall health.Therefore,the research on canine antiemetic drugs has become an important topic in the veterinary field.In recent years,researchers have conducted in-depth analyses of the pathogenesis of canine vomiting,revealing close associations between vomiting and factors such as gastrointestinal diseases,central nervous system abnormalities,and drug reactions.These discoveries have provided a solid theoretical foundation for the development of novel antiemetic drugs.This article summarizes the latest research progress in canine antiemetic drugs,exploring in depth the pathogenesis of canine vomiting and the application of antiemetic drugs.
