In order to train students'ability of self-study and practical innovation,the project teaching method is introduced into microbiology experiment.According to the experimental teaching outline to formulate different levels of experimental project,the degree of difficulty from simple to difficult,progressive.The teaching process is student-centered.The students consult the data,design the verification method and implement the project.Finally achieve the goal of independent completion of experimental projects.The practical results showed that project-based teaching reform significantly improved both the teaching performance and the learning effectiveness.Students achieved significant progress in experiment operation and problem-solving.
