The Effect of Composite Microbial Feed Additives on the Production Performance and Milk Quality of Dairy Cows
To explore the effects of composite microbial feed additives on the production performance and milk quality of dairy cows. The 100 Chinese Holstein cows were selected as experimental subjects and randomly divided into two groups. Each group underwent 5 replicates, with 10 cows in each replicate. The control group was fed with basic feed, while the experimental group was fed with an additional 50 g/d of compound microbial feed in the basic feed. The entire experiment lasted for 65 days.Compared with the control group, the average daily milk production of the experimental group cows was significantly increased(P<0.05),while the feed to milk ratio was significantly reduced(P<0.05).The milk protein and fat content in the milk of the experimental group cows were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the number of somatic cells in the milk was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The addition of composite microbial feed can effectively improve the production performance and milk quality of dairy cows.
