Porcine Sapporo virus disease(Sapporo Virus)is a kind of porcine infectious disease caused by Porcine Sapovirus(PSaV),which can cause diarrhea in pigs.All growth stages of pigs can be infected with PSaV.This disease has been widely prevalent worldwide and often occurs in mixed infections with other pig diseases,posing a certain threat to the pig farming industry.Sapovirus(SaV)is a pathogen that can cause diarrhea in humans and animals,and the fecal-oral route may be the main route of transmission of this virus.SaV exhibits a high degree of genetic diversity,and genetic groups and genotypes are of great significance for analyzing the epidemiology of the disease and understanding the evolution of PSaV.This article reviews the etiology,pathogenesis,epidemiology and diagnosis of PSaV in order to provide reference for the study of related diseases.
