The model of educating with practice in animal husbandry and vet-erinary medicine major in higher vocational colleges in the context of rural revitalization
[Objectives]The path of educating with practice in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine major in higher vocational colleges was studied to improve the effectiveness of practical teaching in animal hus-bandry and veterinary medicine major and train new talents with"one understanding and two loves"in agricul-ture and animal husbandry.[Methods]Students majoring in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine at Zhoukou Vocational and Technical College were used to optimize the model of educating with practice in re-sponse to the situation of teaching with practice in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine major from the perspective of rural revitalization strategy.[Results]The quality of training talents was greatly improve through innovating the model of educating with practice in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine major,the achievements in the construction of major were abundant,and the effects on the reform of"three-teachings"were significant.[Conclusions]The reform in the model of educating with practice in animal husbandry and vet-erinary medicine major provide an important guidance for higher vocational colleges in training talents in live-stock and veterinary with high-quality and awareness of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.
