扬州在明清时是重要的运河经济文化枢纽,其雕版印刷技艺也闻名全国.清代以来,扬州的雕版印刷发展至鼎盛时期,这期间扬州的木刻版画品类丰富,极具艺术价值,其中木刻年画虽产量不高,但因地方文化的影响而形成了别具一格的艺术风格,与著名的苏州桃花坞、湖南滩头、山东潍坊杨家埠等地区年画相比较,有相似之处,也有其独特的题材及表现形式.
Abstract
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Yangzhou was an important economic and cultural hub along the canal,and its woodblock printing was well-known throughout the country.Since the Qing dynasty,wood-block printing in Yangzhou had reached its peak.During this period,Yangzhou woodcut pictures were rich in categories and high in artistic value.Among them,woodcut new year pictures,although low in production,formed a unique artistic style due to the influence of local culture and therefore while bearing similarities with the famous Suzhou Taohuawu,Hunan Beach,Shandong Weifang Yangjiabu New Year pictures,had its unique themes and forms of expression.
