Occurrence and damage pattern of Apolygus lucorum in tea gardens in Southern Shaanxi
This study investigated the occurrence and damage caused by Apolygus lucorum in the Shangluo tea garden of Southern Shaanxi,from 2020 to 2022.The research was conducted through field investigations and systematic monitoring.The results showed that there were five generations of A.lucorum in the Shangluo tea garden each year.The first generation of nymphs began to appear in the mid to late April,and the first generation of adults emerged in early May.The number of adult A.lucorum in the first,fourth,and fifth generations was relative high in the tea garden.The fourth generation of adults returned to the tea garden in late August,which was the main group of returning in autumn.During winter,A.lucorum primarily overwintered as eggs in the pith of the cut stems from the same year.The rate of egg deposition and the number of eggs per 100 branches were higher in Zhongcha 108 and Zhonghuang 2 near the slope and canal.
