The properties of three types of imported diamond samples and domestic dia-mond samples were compared in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the dis-tinctions between domestic diamonds and foreign high-grade diamonds.The performance indexes of imported diamonds were systematically analyzed,including single particle stat-ic pressure strength,TTI,TI,magnetic susceptibility and crystal form composition,etc.The idea of benchmarking imported diamonds with domestic diamonds was proposed.Fi-nally,these diamonds were made into Φ350 mm saw blade for cutting experiments,com-paring the actual use effect of domestic and foreign diamonds.The experimental results show that when wet cutting C45 concrete,the cutting speed of domestic diamond is basi-cally equivalent to that of imported diamond.When dry cutting C25,domestic diamond is about 15%slower than imported diamond,and the cutting feel of imported diamond is better than that of domestic diamond.From the state of the top edge diamond after cut-ting,it can be seen that the imported diamond cutting edge will experience micro frag-mentation and can continuously and stably dry cut.In the application of construction en-gineering,the performance of domestic diamonds is close to the level of foreign mid grade products during wet cutting,but there is still a certain gap compared to imported dia-monds during dry cutting.
