This paper introduces the definition of enamel,the process of enamel jewelry,the role of specific elements in enamel glaze,and the safety technical requirements for en-amel craft jewelry domestic and foreign.The XRF method was used to screen 54 kinds of domestic glazes and 164 kinds of imported glazes for harmful elements,summarized and analyzed the basic color-causing elements of six colors glaze systems,the role of harmful elements and the research of their substitutes.
