With the development of spectral technique,many spectral techniques have been applied to gemstone identification.In recent years,the application of ultraviolet-visible Spectrum in gemstone identification has been paid more and more attention,such as gem-stone variety identification,gemstone optimal treatment identification,gemstone color ele-ments analysis,gemstone origin analysis and so on.By summarizing and analyzing the ap-plication of ultraviolet-visible Spectrum in gemstone identification,it provides the basis for gemstone identification and research.
