Dynamic Characteristic Tester for Engine Damper-Ball Bearing Unit
To verify the theoretical model of dynamic characteristics of damper-ball bearing unit,a dedicated tester is designed to simulate the operating conditions of the unit. The overall design scheme, main structure, drive system, lubrication system, loading system, electrical system and computer monitoring system of the tester are introduced in detail, and the strength, stiffness and modal checking of spindle of the tester are completed. The axis trajectories of inner and outer rings and oil film pressure are obtained through experiments under rotational speeds of 6 000,9 000,13 000 r/min.The results show that when the rotational speed increases from 6 000 r/min to 13 000 r/min,the axis trajectories of inner and outer rings tend to stabilize, and the increase in oil film pressure is within 10%.The results are consistent with theoretical analysis results, achieving the design purpose of the tester and verifying the correctness of theoretical model.
