Development and Field Test of High-Frequency Bi-Directional Jar for Coiled Tubing Stick-Freeing
In order to solve the problems of low jarring frequency,low success rate and long operation period of conventional jar during the process of drilling plug and freeing pipe operation,a new type of hydraulic high-fre-quency bi-directional jar for coiled tubing was proposed in this paper.There is no high precision hydraulic delay mechanism inside the tool,and hydraulic pressure is used as the power source,and liquid pressure and spring force are used to achieve the purpose of continuous jarring,and the jarring mode can be quickly changed by chan-ging the state of lifting or pressing the tool.The main structure,working principle,main technical parameters and performance characteristics of the high-frequency bidirectional jar are described in detail.The performance e-valuation test of the bidirectional jarring mode is carried out on the physical prototype,and the field application is carried out in several wells in Dagang Oilfield.The results show that the developed bi-directional jar has high har-ring frequency,improving the success rate of stick-freeing,effectively shortening the operation cycle,improving construction efficiency,and reducing costs.It has a broad application prospect.
