Research on Casing Program Design and Applicability Evaluation of Extra-deep Wells in Shuangyushi Block,Sichuan Basin
There are 5 casing sealing points and 2 casing isolation risk points in the Sinian ultra-deep well in the Shuangyushi Block of the Sichuan Basin.The casing program design is difficult.This paper investigated the casing program of the drilled ultra-deep wells at home and abroad.Due to the large number of casing sequences and high strength required in the Sinian ultra-deep well in Shuangyushi Block,the existing casing program of ultra-deep well at home and abroad cannot be directly applied in the Sinian ultra-deep well in Shuangyushi Block,and inde-pendent research and development is required.According to the existing technical conditions at home and abroad,two sets of casing and bit size matching models without using expandable casing as technical casing were first es-tablished in this paper,and the casing program of the Sinian extra-deep well in Shuangyushi Block was optimized,combining the drilling experience in the adjacent area.Then,the casing string strength check,hydraulics,drill string mechanics and drilling rig operating capacity of the casing program were evaluated.In the case that some existing casings and drill pipes do not meet the safety drilling requirements,the custom-designed casings and drill pipes were optimized.The results of the study show that using this well structure scheme during the drilling opera-tion,the drilling rig load is 6,856 kN,and the existing ZJ120 drilling rig and its 70 MPa drilling pump can meet the operation requirements.The matching designed casing,drill string and hydraulic parameters also meet the safe operation requirements and are feasible,which can provide technical reference for the exploration and development of ultra-deep layers in similar blocks in China.
