Development and Application of Flammable and Toxic Gas Detection Device in Dock Area Pipe Trench
In recent years, the increasing risks associated with the operation of oil and gas pipelines within trenches have become more prominent.Numerous incidents, both domestically and internationally, have involved undetected accumulation of oil and gas leaks within underground trenches, resulting in explosion accidents.En-suring the safe operation of oil and gas pipelines within trenches is of paramount importance. However, the gen-eral environment within these trenches is harsh, particularly in coastal harbor trenches.During typhoons, severe water logging within the trenches makes it challenging for traditional flammable and toxic gas detection equip-ment to operate reliably, thus increasing the difficulty of trench safety management. To address this issue,a pump-suction dual-gas detection system is developed, which has been successfully implemented in harbor trenches. This system utilizes advanced technology and innovative design to effectively draw gas samples from within the trenches and conduct rapid and accurate analysis and detection. Its ability to operate stably in harsh environments and promptly detect leaks of flammable gases and toxic gases significantly enhances the safety and reliability of harbor trenches. This technological innovation can effectively prevent potential explosion accidents and safeguard the safety of workers and the surrounding environment. The application of this system will pro-vide robust support for safety management in the oil and gas pipeline industry, ensuring the safety and reliability of trenches.
