Construction Analysis of Innovative Mode of Scientific Research Management of Drilling Companies Based on IPD:A Case Study of Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited
In recent years, oil drilling companies have consistently taken scientific and technological innovation as a critical measure for high-quality development, and have made breakthroughs in scientific and technological self-reliance and self-independence,digital transformation, and intelligent development. However, with changes in the internal and external environments of the industry, the market has increasingly high requirements for the speed and quality of technological product research and development;meanwhile technological development has entered a critical and challenging phase. The existing research and development system needs to be upgraded to support the efficient operation of scientific research.By learning from Huawei's IPD(Integrated Product Development)expe-rience and practices, combined with Chuanqing's unique characteristics, the company has conducted categorized exploration and reform in R&D investment strategy, demand management, innovative organization mode, shared base, assessment and incentive system, etc.,and formed the company's IPD-based scientific R&D management system. The results indicate that the optimization of the R&D system, especially the implementation of measures such as the establishment of classification management for demand, the establishment of the separation strategy of technological research and product development, the formation of a public product base, and the coordination and organization of cross-department research to tackle key problems, promoted the rapid field application of the re-sults represented by the"overflow and loss early monitoring and warning system",and the research cycle has been reduced from two years to half a year in conventional projects. The results are remarkable, having important reference significance for oil drilling companies to optimize and improve the mode of scientific and technological innovation.
