Taken the cruise ship cabin as the object,a complete two-story two-bedroom cruise ship cabin model is established.Two noise reduction technologies,namely viscoelastic damping + steel sheets and viscoelastic damping + steel sheets + mineral wool,are adopted.A model test of noise control for cruise ship cabin is conducted,and the sound insulation quantity of cabin and corridor is measured.The results show that the cabin noises with the two noise reduction technologies both reach the specification requirement of less than 45 dB,and the sound insulation quantities both reach more than 30 dB when the noise frequency is higher than 315 Hz.The two noise reduction technologies adopted are of certain applicability in the noise control for cruise ship cabin.
