To improve the reliability and production efficiency of the automation system in ore dressing plants,it is crucial to accurately detect,diagnose,and effectively prevent faults during the ore dressing process.This paper introduces the current operation status of the automatic control system in ore dressing plants and elaborates on the necessity of a fault diagnosis system.On this basis,the hardware and software of the fault diagnosis system were designed,and the functions and application scenarios of the fault diagnosis system were analyzed in order to design a reliable,safe,and efficient fault diagnosis system.
