Design of Charge and Discharge Equalizer for Lithium Battery Pack Based on Reconfigurable Circuits
A reconfigurable circuit based lithium battery pack charge and discharge balancing circuit is proposed to address the issue of inconsistent energy in lithium battery cells after charging and discharging.During the charging phase,the equalizer controls the series parallel connection of the lithium battery pack and the charging state of the lithium battery units through an improved reconfigurable circuit,achieving balanced charging of the lithium battery pack.During the discharge process,the lowest energy lithium battery unit is replenished with energy through a synchronous Buck circuit combined with a switching tube to achieve energy balance during the discharge process.Finally,in MTALAB/Simulink,a battery pack consisting of four lithium battery units was simulated and balanced for verification.The results indicate that the equalizer can achieve fast balancing during the charging and discharging process of lithium battery packs and effectively reduce the degree of battery inconsistency.Compared with various algorithms,the feasibility of the improved genetic algorithm in practical applications was demonstrated.
