Application of Ratio Analyzer in Sulfur Recovery Unit
This paper introduces the use of the H2S/SO2 ratio analyzer in three sets of sulfur recovery units of a certain company,describes the detection principle,system structure,and usage precautions of the AMETEK 880NSL ultraviolet spectrophotometry analyzer,analyzes two recent failures of the ratio analyzer,and addresses the management and technical issues that exist in the current use of the analyzer,Suggestions for improvement were proposed from three aspects:Spare parts management,online status monitoring,and sampling and heat tracing improvement,to ensure the stable,long-term,and efficient operation of the ratio analyzer.
