Design and Application of an SF6 Rapid Inflation Device
The pressure drop of SF6 can lead to a decrease in internal insulation of electrical equipment,causing tripping and affecting the stable operation of the power system.Charging SF6 equipment while energized is an important maintenance method to address pressure drop.However,traditional charging tools have drawbacks such as incompatible models,complicated assembly,limited charging distance,difficult cylinder handling,and lack of safety measures.Therefore,an improved rapid inflation device is proposed based on traditional inflation tools,and a male female quick connector is introduced,a safety valve design is added,and the inflation pipeline is extended for the device.Through airtightness tests,reliability tests,and safety valve tests,it is proven that the rapid charging device has good airtightness and reliability,and the safety valve can cut off the pipeline in case of emergencies.The device has advantages such as easy disassembly and assembly,universal interface,extended charging distance,no need for cylinder handling,and emergency isolation measures.It is of great significance in improving the efficiency and safety of SF6 charging operations in power systems.
