Research on Damage Characteristics of Roadway in Coal Pillar Stress Zone and Control Technology
In the process of continuous coal seam mining,the residual coal pillar in the upper goaf often leads to strong stress in the underlying longwall mining face,and the stress accumulation will cause serious damage and deformation of the mining roadway.Therefore,the stress failure deformation process of Longtai Coal Mine roadway is studied as an example.The failure deformation process of mining roadway surrounding rock is analyzed,and the stress distribution characteristics and the evolution process of vertical stress and failure zone around roadway are simulated by FLAC3D.The results show that the working resistance below the coal pillar is generally higher,with an average value of 9 726.6 kN,and below the goaf is generally lower,with an average value of 7 655.5 kN.The deformation and failure degree of the affected mining roadway is relatively moderate outside 30 m from the working face,and relatively serious within 30 m from the working face No.9+10.Based on the concentrated stress distribution characteristics of residual coal pillar,hydraulic fracturing is used to control its mechanical characteristics and improve the stress environment of mining roadway.
