Study on Automatic Fault Location Method of Centralized Feeder in Distribution Network
The distribution network has numerous and diverse wiring routes, coupled with harsh environments, making it difficult to find faults and requiring a significant amount of manpower and material resources. For this purpose,a centralized feeder fault automatic positioning method for distribution networks was studied. The traveling wave signal is collected by wave recorder and denoised by wavelet transform. The VMD method is used to decompose the traveling wave signal,to determine the marginal spectrum of each modal component after decomposition, and to extract the characteristics of each modal component, including the spectrum mean, variance, bandwidth and the frequency corresponding to the maximum amplitude, constitute a set of features. The fault type is located by multi-classification SVM model and the fault location is determined by traveling wave method. The results indicate that the positioning error of the studied method reaches a relatively minimum value, and the positioning results are more accurate.
