Using Edge Computing Thinking to Solve the Problem of Centralized Stacking and Accurate Coding of Cigarettes Case
The traditional three-dimensional warehouse does not collect barcode information for cigarette storage. In order to meet the needs of information construction,it is necessary to achieve accurate cigarette collection codes through local transformation without updating the original conveying process and electrical control. The centralized processing method may lead to code collection failure and confusion of information at the robot cigarette catching station due to the time difference in production flow. Therefore, based on the edge computing thinking,a precise code acquisition mode is designed in which the stacking unit independently scans and verifies the code and interacts with each link. This mode uses the idea of edge computing to distribute a large amount of calculation of barcode acquisition, comparison and control interaction to the on-site PLC controller for processing, which can meet the requirements of pipeline code acquisition and processing in real time. The results show that this mode can automatically and accurately collect and stack cigarette codes without delay after online labeling, and eliminate unclear, duplicate, and false alarms of barcodes through interactive control of the robot.Ultimately,it achieves 100%accurate barcode collection and storage,as well as barcode information binding in the storage system.Refining the inventory management granularity of finished cigarette products to individual cigarettes can lay an information foundation for future barcode management, quality traceability, precise market placement, and informationization of whole pallet delivery in the"No.1 Project".
