Research on Belt Conveyor Longitudinal Tear Belt Breakage and Wire Breakage Monitoring System
In order to improve the safety production efficiency of coal mines,a warning and monitoring system for longitudinal tearing and wire breakage of conveyor belts based on infrared spectroscopy analysis has been designed.This system reflects the process of longitudinal tearing and wire breakage of conveyor belts through infrared thermal imaging technology.The results show that the process of longitudinal tearing and wire breakage of a belt conveyor can be quantitatively characterized by the characteristic parameter(T)to quantify the changes in the infrared radiation field of the process.When the characteristic parameter value is 0.6~1.6,the conveyor belt of the belt conveyor is in a fully connected state,which can be regarded as a precursor to belt breakage and wire breakage.This monitoring system can provide new ideas for the identification and prediction of longitudinal tearing and wire breakage of belt conveyors.
