Dynamic Simulation Study on Typical Faults of Gear Reducers Under Variable Working Conditions
Considering the complexity of the working conditions of the gear transmission system and the problems of long cycles and high costs in gear fault experiments,SolidWorks 3D modeling software is used to establish 3D solid models of each part of the gearbox, and crack and broken tooth fault gear models are respectively established. The studied gears are treated with flexibility using ANSYS.ADAMS dynamic simulation is conducted on normal gears and gear crack and broken tooth models under stable and variable speed working conditions.By analyzing the time-frequency domain diagrams of gear vibration acceleration under fault conditions, the results show that under stable working conditions, the vibration generated by broken tooth gears is the most severe and periodic, and the cracked gears will generate significant vibration in the early stage of operation.Under variable speed conditions,as the speed increases, the vibration amplitude generated by the gear becomes larger, and as the speed decreases, the vibration amplitude also becomes smaller.
