Implementation and Application of Calculation Program for Hydraulic Friction Along the Path
In response to the problem of low efficiency in the calculation of hydraulic frictional resistance along the way using Newtonian fluid in the design of oilfield water injection and oil recovery processes,a nine parameter custom function was developed using the WPS table VBA based on the calculation method of the classic textbook.This achieved rapid calculation of hydraulic frictional resistance along the way in the WPS table and returned multiple calculation results,greatly improving work efficiency.The deviation between the calculation results of the custom function and the two cited literature is within 1%,which proves that the calculation results are reliable and can be used to quickly calculate the frictional pressure drop along the water injection and oil recovery process.This has a great guiding role in selecting appropriate pipe sizes,flow ranges,and energy conservation for oilfield production.In addition,the WPS table custom function is also applicable to Office Excel.
