Analysis of Peak Shaving Revenue of Thermal Power Units in Shanxi Province
This paper studies the operating rules of Shanxi electric power ancillary service market.Taking a 300 MW Thermal power unit as an example,this paper analyzes the income of the thermal power unit under different peak load conditions.The results show that the price of standard coal is the main factor affecting when the unit operates above the zero point load of revenue.When the unit operates below the zero point load of revenue,the revenue of the unit mainly depends on the peak shaving revenue.Therefore,it is one of the important direction for the development of thermal power units in the future to enhance the deep peak shaving capacity of thermal power units and improve the peak shaving revenue.
