Acupoint Massage Device Based on Principal Component Analysis
A massage device based on principal component analysis method was designed to accurately locate acupoints,replacing traditional Chinese medicine massage therapists for Fengchi acupoint massage.Firstly,based on the feature that the Fengchi acupoint is located in the center of the posterior part of the human brain and is half the width of the four fingers of the palm on both sides of the lowest point of the neck,laser ranging sensors,stepper motors,and linear displacement sensors are applied to search for the lowest point of the posterior neck of the human brain and perform 3D modeling in a specific area of the posterior brain.Then,the principal component analysis method is applied to calculate the curvature and normal vector of the point cloud around the Fengchi acupoint in the established three-dimensional model,and the position and swing angle of the massage head are obtained.Finally,the device moves the massage head to the corresponding position at the calculated swing angle for massage.
