Study on Ventilation Resistance Measurement and System Optimization
In response to the adoption of a central split mechanical extraction ventilation process in a certain coal industry, using the main and auxiliary adits of the mining area as intake shafts, and setting up return air inclined shafts, this study aims to optimize the ventilation system by addressing issues such as insufficient total air supply, high intake air resistance, and complex ventilation network. The study explores factors such as insufficient air supply, air flow series connection, and imbalanced distribution of air resistance.A two panel intake inclined shaft and a two panel return air inclined shaft are designed and added, making the ventilation routes of 4-2-5-2 coal and 2-2-3-1 coal independent of each other. The optimization of the ventilation system relies on natural air distribution. After calculation and analysis of air volume distribution, equal volume holes, wind resistance distribution, and ventilation network,it can be concluded that the optimized ventilation system effectively solves the problems existing in the original system, and the optimization effect is significant.
