Particle Swarm Optimization for Location and Capacity Determination of Distributed Power Sources in Distribution Networks
In response to the problem of excessive active power loss in the existing distributed power generation site selection and capacity determination of the distribution network,which affects the overall operational performance of the distribution network,a particle swarm optimization algorithm is introduced to design and study a site selection and capacity determination method.On the premise of meeting the safety constraints of the distribution network,construct a distributed power generation planning model for the distribution network.Based on particle swarm optimization algorithm,plan the distribution of distributed power sources in the distribution network,and perform power flow calculation according to the distributed power sources in the distribution network to achieve fixed capacity.Experimental results have shown that the application of the new site selection and capacity determination method can effectively reduce active power loss and promote the overall operation quality improvement of the distribution network.
